Summary
IIt was a perfect storm. Young, ambitious individuals starting an agency in the middle of a recession, before the startup boom, and growing it into a contender with over 1M in annual turnover. We created ground-breaking campaigns and branding ahead of their time, during an era when social media and virality were just beginning to take shape.


Making Helsinki Bolder
As CEO, I was responsible for strategy, sales, hiring, and leading the team. Our headcount peaked at 10-12 people, and our biggest client was ING with their brand-new Kluuvi shopping mall development project.
We not only created brands for our clients but also built a community around the company, which became a phenomenon in itself. We championed the entrepreneurial spirit and the importance of taking risks.
Highlights
I joined Bolder Helsinki shortly after it was founded and became CEO soon after. During my tenure, the company grew from a small startup into a creative agency employing over ten full-time professionals across various disciplines. Together with the partners, we bootstrapped the company and transformed it into a profitable business with over €1M in annual turnover – and built a community around it filled with lasting memories.
